My personal logo incorporates my initials in a single-stroke, monogram design.

This logo began life as a scribble in the back of a sketchbook, slowly making its way to Adobe Illustrator, becoming more refined along the way. The simple, bold monogram and varying curve radii are a representation of who I am as a designer.

The Cortiça logo is constructed with repeated quarter-circle ‘macaroni’ shapes referencing the repetition of cork granules in agglomerated cork sheets as used by the products in the collection. The repetition of the three elements to form a triangular shape draws an inverted interpretation of the iconic ‘reduce-reuse-recycle’ green triangle formed by three arrows. Additionally, the three repeated elements each feature a ‘C’ shape as a callout to the Cortiça name

This personal logo done for an off-road enthusiast reflects their adventurous lifestyle. The peaks of the ‘M’ reflecting mountain peaks, and the ‘J’ mimicking a snorkel air intake, both staple sights of off-road adventure.
