Creativity & Aesthetics

The design process is a constant battle with a lack of information, requiring creativity and inquisitiveness to drive the process forward. I have experience with various methods of generating volumes of ideas, exploring, refining and selecting concepts appropriate for working in teams or individually. Using techniques like moodboarding and developing style guides for brand identities are also key aspects of C&A I have worked on developing.

I have further developed both analogue and digital sketching techniques through courses and various self-directed learning activities. I find that these techniques combine well with workflows in 3D modelling software and link C&A to T&R when it comes to rapidly moving from an idea to a prototype.

Physical and interactive materiality has been something that I have used as the centerpiece of a design project previously and is something I find highly inspiring to work with. Open-ended exploration of material and aesthetics is a part of this expertise area that I have worked on incorporating to a greater extent more recently.
